ALBERT HENRY SMOTRYCKI After a challenging battle with complications arising from pneumonia, Albert ended his journey on earth to begin another journey in painless peace and tranquility. He passed on in the morning of January 12, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by his father Stanley in 1976, Albert leaves to mourn his loss, his mother Kay Smotrycki; brother Clement (Ronalda), their children, Joann (Sylvian), Diane (Christian), Richard (friend Julie) great nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Patrick, Stephanie, Veronique, and Alexandre; and friend Ruth Twerdochlib. Albert will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Albert was born in Komarno, April 27, 1941. He grew up and lived in the area all his life. Albert was farming up until he fell ill. He enjoyed his woodworking, bird watching and fishing. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 14 at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15 in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Interment will follow in St. Georges Cemetery, Komarno. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg. Mackenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
